Madden is a game of speed by nature. Speed is one the most important attributes to obtain when building your roster in Madden 22. There is arguably no position where speed is more prevalent in Madden than wide receiver. Every year you see slot receivers dominate and develop with speed over the middle. The kick and punt return game is also almost exclusively dominated by speed and acceleration.

This years game is loaded with speed at the wide receiver position. Tyreek Hill leads the class once again with 99 speed and 99 acceleration. He is the fastest player in the entire game.
The speed from this position is like no other, and it appears as though opposing defenses won’t be able to keep up. There are only a handful of talented corners that will be able to run with the players on this list. In franchise mode, there is a lot of developmental potential in this talent pool. Most of the players on the list are young, which bodes well for development. Only in Madden can a player like Rico Gafford become a superstar in just a few years time by feeding him in the slot.
The list of fastest wide receivers in Madden 22 appears to be fairly accurate, though I’m sure people will argue D.K. Metcalf deserves to be ranked higher. The list includes two rookies and a handful of players entering their second and third seasons in the NFL. Marquise Goodwin and DeSean Jackson are the elder statesmen of the list. Kansas City, Miami and Arizona all have two representatives with blazing speed. The first eight players on the list made the list of Fastest Players in Madden 22. Overall this is a very interesting list of speedsters that you will want to acquire in franchise mode particularly.
