With EA Sports’ latest edition of one of their most beloved franchises set to release, the official launch ratings for ‘Madden NFL 23″ are out.
Here are the fastest quarterbacks in Madden 23:
Rank | Player | Team | Speed |
1 | Lamar Jackson | Baltimore Ravens | 96 |
2 | Kyler Murray | Arizona Cardinals | 92 |
3 | Malik Willis | Tennessee Titans | 92 |
4 | Justin Fields | Chicago Bears | 90 |
5 | Josh Allen | Buffalo Bills | 89 |
6 | Bryce Perkins | Los Angeles Rams | 89 |
7 | Desmond Ridder | Atlanta Falcons | 88 |
8 | Marcus Mariota | Atlanta Falcons | 88 |
9 | Daniel Jones | New York Giants | 88 |
10 | Trey Lance | San Francisco 49ers | 87 |
Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts and Ravens’ Tyler Huntley also boast 87 speed ratings but did not make the top 10 due to lower acceleration than Lance, which is the tiebreaker in this case.
Jackson tops the list of fastest quarterbacks in Madden 23 for the second year in a row, and by a large margin. The Ravens dual-threat superstar is a terrifying presence for opposing defenses, as he’s not just the fastest QB, but one of the fastest players in Madden 23 overall. Given his ability with the ball in his hands, defenses are forced to put a spy on Jackson — and they better have one of the fastest linebackers in Madden 23 to keep up.
The list features two rookies, Titans’ Willis and Falcons’ Ridder. Should you want to develop a young dual-threat weapon, those two names should be the first to look toward. Ridder will be entered into a quarterback battle with Mariota, who features identical speed.
Aside from the bonafide stars on the list, Fields and Lance might be the most intriguing options, as players with all the athletic attributes needed and the potential to become stars in their own right entering year two.
With the full list of official Madden 23 ratings released, there will be plenty more content to come.
