Fastest Players In Madden NFL 23

It should be noted that Green Bay Packers cornerback Rico Gafford and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Anthony Schwartz also were given 96 speed but did not make the top 10 due to lower acceleration ratings than Jackson and Goodwin.

It comes as no surprise that Tyreek Hill, the Miami Dolphins’ newest weapon, has topped the list of fastest players in Madden 23. He’s done so for several years in a row and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Hill is not only the lone player with 99 speed but also tops the charts with 99 acceleration. Hill arguably is the top receiving threat in the game when factoring in his 97 overall on top of his maxed-out speed and acceleration.

To make matters even more extreme, Jaylen Waddle, who comes in at No. 5 on this list, is one of the top young playmakers in the game. Waddle, who boasts an 84 overall in his second season, comes equipped with 97 acceleration to match his speed. The pair of elite speedsters create the most dynamic one-two punch in the league. The Dolphins will be one of the most fun and best teams in franchise mode.

Beyond the Dolphins’ electric depth chart, there are a few more worthwhile notes to come from this list. First, the list of fastest players in Madden 23 provides new life, as three rookies — Jameson Williams, Kalon Barnes and Tariq Woolen — enter the game as some of the top speedsters in the NFL. Williams is by far the most talented, with a 78 overall and potential to become one of the league’s greats both in real life and in franchise mode. Barnes (64 overall) and Woolen (66 overall) are projects but could develop into elite playmakers capable of keeping up with the plethora of receivers with 95+ speed.

The fastest way to develop a below-average corner without having to throw him out there to get exposed weekly on defense is to utilize him in the return game and hope he can make the Pro Bowl as a specialist. He’ll gain valuable experience to level up and become starting-caliber defender in no time.

The other standout on this list is Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson, who is by far the fastest quarterback in the game. As a defender, you have to quiver a little knowing a player with 96 speed and 96 acceleration will be touching the ball on every play. It’s worth investing in a linebacker with elite speed to have a shot to contain Jackson in Madden 23.

As you can see, wide receivers dominated the speed category for the second year in a row. The group includes seven wide receivers, two cornerbacks and a quarterback.

With the full list of official Madden 23 ratings released, there will be plenty more information to dissect to gain an edge on your opposition.
