Best Values in Madden 21 Fantasy Drafts

Best values in Madden 21 fantasy draft

Every year Fantasy Drafts are one of the most commonly used features in Madden 21. I have been asked for Fantasy Draft tips and tricks. The most valuable advice I can give you is to tell you when valuable players are going. If you know the draft strategy of the rest of the league, you can build yourself a pretty stellar plan yourself. Here are the best values in Madden 21 fantasy drafts.

The first round is going to be full of elite players at premiere positions. Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Ramsey are a lock as the first three picks of the draft. After that, you will see a run of wide receivers, running backs, cornerbacks and pass rushers. Elite quarterbacks like Russell Wilson will also go off the board in the first round.

Chase Young – 80 – 1st Round

Chase Young is one of the best NFL prospects in recent memory. He became the first rookie with a Superstar X-Factor development trait in Madden. He is an absolute athletic freak of nature. If you want Chase Young, you are likely going to have to pull the trigger in round one. If you have a pick in the back half of the first round, Chase Young should be in consideration. He typically goes as the first pick in round two, so it would be nearly impossible to scoop him up with your second pick. If you want some more information on Chase Young check out this article on the top defensive rookies in Madden 21.

Henry Ruggs III – 76 – 5th Round

Henry Ruggs III is one of the most dynamic players in the game with 98 speed and 97 acceleration. If that is not enough, he is 21-years-old and has superstar development. He is going in the middle of the fifth round, meaning you may have to spend a fourth on the young speedster if you do not have a top ten pick in round five. Ruggs is a player worth reaching on in my opinion, if you have too. Henry Ruggs III is one of the best values in Madden 21 fantasy drafts. For a full breakdown of Henry Ruggs III abilities, check out this article.

If you do not want to reach for Ruggs, and he is not available, Jerry Jeudy and CeeDee Lamb are also phenomenal rookie receivers with superstar development. In my latest draft, Ruggs III went 16th, Jeudy went 25th, and Lamb went 29th in round five. I would be thrilled to have any of the three on my team.

Isaiah Simmons – 78 – 6th Round

Isaiah Simmons is one of the best athletes in the NFL. He will be a freak defender for your franchise and is a superstar development at only 22-years-old. He is one of my favorite players in the game, and can usually be taken in the sixth round. I have seen him taken with the 30th pick in round five, but he usually makes it to round six. More on Isaiah Simmons here.

Tua Tagovailoa – 73 – 8th Round

Joe Burrow can be found in the middle of the second round, which is far too early in my opinion. Tagovailoa is nearly identical as far as attributes are concerned. He also is much younger at 22-years-old with a superstar development trait. Tagovailoa is the best value for a superstar development quarterback. If you want to load up on talent around your quarterback, you can wait and get Jordan Love in the 22nd round.

Brian Burns – 79 – 8th Round

There aren’t many players I like more than Brian Burns in Madden. I am in the middle of my first season of a franchise in Madden 21 and Burns is on pace to smash the sack record. Brian Burns is one of the best values in Madden 21 for fantasy drafts. I talked about why Brian Burns is so good in Madden 21 in this article:

Devin White – 78 – 9th Round

Devin White was one of my favorite players in Madden 20, and that sentiment has not changed this year. Like Burns, White has a game breaking speed and size combination. He was another player featured on my list of best players to trade for in Madden 21. Burns would be my top choice in round nine, but drafting White instead would be just as exciting.

Marquise Brown – 80 – 10th Round

Marquise Brown is going in the first ten picks of the tenth round. He is one of the fastest players in Madden 21. At 23-years-old, Brown will be haunting opposing defenses for the next decade. Brown is a perfect player to pair with one of the young superstars in round five – especially if you grab Henry Ruggs III. If you want a more expansive breakdown of Marquise Brown, check out this article below.

Devin Bush – 76 – 10th Round

Devin Bush is typically taken in the back of the tenth round. He is one of the most athletic linebackers in the league and a great pick in the tenth round. At this point there will still be some athletic freaks left at linebacker, which is why I would pick Marquise Brown over Devin Bush. That said, you really cannot go wrong with either selection.

Montez Sweat – 76 – 11th Round

If you missed out on Brian Burns, Montez Sweat is a perfect selection in the eleventh round. If you did grab Burns, you can create the fastest pass rush duo in the game. He is usually selected at the very end of the eleventh round, providing great value. I have a lot of great things to say about Sweat’s abilities, but his 91 speed and 93 acceleration really says it all. To read more in Montez Sweat, click here.

Ali Marpet – 89 – 13th Round

Drafting Ali Marpet in the double-digit rounds is almost unfair. Marpet is a 27-year-old left guard that is a major contributor in the pass and run game. Quenton Nelson is the only player with a higher rating at the left guard position. Ali Marpet typically goes early in the thirteenth round. That is by far one of the best values in Madden 21 fantasy drafts.

Kenneth Murray Jr. – 73 – 13th Round

Kenneth Murray is a very young, insanely fast linebacker with a star development trait. You may be starting to notice a trend with my picks at linebacker. Murray is unique because he has a similar skillset as the other linebackers on this list, but at outside linebacker. Now any linebacker on this list will excel in any linebacker spot, but I still give him a nod for his position scarcity. He will almost always go ahead of Queen by a few picks. You may want to reach a little for both Kenneth Murray Jr. and Patrick Queen, especially if you miss out on White or Bush.

Patrick Queen – 72 – 13th Round

I have already mentioned some middle linebackers with great values in the draft. Queen may have the best value out of all of them. At 72 overall, Queen will not be as complete of a player as White or Bush. However, Queen is a 21-year-old with star development, 89 speed and 90 acceleration. He has just as much if not more potential as White and Bush. I would grab Patrick Queen in the twelfth round, just to make sure he I do not miss out on the speedster. Queen is a must draft for me, as one of the best values in Madden 21 fantasy drafts.

Brandon Brooks – 93 – 15th Round

If you can get a 93 overall in the fifteenth round, disregard the fact that he is 31-years-old. Brandon Brooks is a menace that is going clear the path for your backfield and protect your quarterback. At 93 overall, Brooks is one of the best values in Madden 21 in round fifteen. Enjoy running behind the second best right guard in the game. If you miss out on Brooks, Richie Incognito (90 overall) and Kevin Zeitler (85 overall) should still be on the board.

Jordan Love – 71 – 21st Round

Jordan Love is not far off from the top rookies quarterbacks are far as attributes. The reason why Love is so low is because he has normal development. He can still become a superstar with a couple of Pro Bowl seasons. While I think Love is a capable quarterback, I would prefer to use him offline. In a competitive online franchise, you will likely miss key throws with any rookie quarterback. However, if you believe your league will last for years, Jordan Love could be a steal. He has 90 throw power, very solid accuracy, 81 speed, and 86 acceleration. He is a quality dual-threat quarterback with a ton of upside at 21-years-old.

Blake Cashman – 70 – 22nd Round

This is the last lineabacker on the list. If you passed on the previous options, or want to add depth, go out and get Blake Cashman in the late 22nd round. He is an extremely fast linebacker with the tools to flourish into a superstar. If you want to see more on Blake Cashman, check out this article.

Noah Fant – 74 – 28th Round

Noah Fant is one of the best tight ends to use in Madden 21 because of his elite speed for his position. Fant is 22-years-old and primed to take a big step this season in real life and the game. He has a star development trait and is one the best values in Madden 21 fantasy drafts.
